We depend upon our colonies of
honey bees to pollinate our fruits.
The first honey that we extract in
the early summer is a unique blend
of the nectar from cherry, apple and
peach blossoms as well as nectar from
the flowers of our blackberry plants,
raspberry, plants, blueberry plants
and dandelions. Our summer and fall
honey is a blend of local seasonal
wild flowers. The color and flavor
of honey depends upon the flowers
that provided the nectar. As a rule,
the lighter the honey the more mild
the honey flavor, the darker the honey
the more bold the flavor.
Honey is an excellent energy food
because it contains simple sugars
that the body can use quickly. Honey
is a safe and wholesome food for
children and adults.
Honey should not be given to infants
under one year of age.
Our honey is available at the Farm Stand
and by mail order. Mail order prices are

2 pound glass jar - $ 8.25
